Mary Bivens

Mary Bivens, LPN
Clinical Liaison

Mary joined Foothills Weight Loss Specialists in 2001. Mary collaborates closely with Drs. Colquitt and Ray to ensure quality care for post-operative patients. She engages directly with our patient guests and supports them in their one-month post-op visits. Mary is a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS). She is active in her church and often plays piano during Sunday fellowship.

Trista Prater, RN
Clinical Liaison

Trista has been in healthcare for 10 years, working as an RN and LPN. Most recently she served as a hospital Surgical Services Recovery Room Nurse taking care of many post-op bariatric patients. There she developed an interest in bariatrics and is excited about the opportunity to follow patients throughout their weight loss surgery journey. Trista joined Foothills in 2016. She lives in Maryville and is active in her church. She enjoys spending time with her toddler daughter, playing softball, hiking, reading and painting.

Tracie Kitts Foothills

Tracie Kitts, Patient Advocate & Medical Assistant for Dr. Ray

Tracie joined Foothills Weight Loss Specialists in 2010. She is vital in preparing and supporting Dr. Ray’s patients through the surgery process, guiding each through the various steps that are necessary for a successful weight loss journey. She, who has more than 24 years of experience in the medical field, is the first resource for our guests after their initial consult has been scheduled. Tracie underwent the Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy in 2011 and understands the unique needs of our patients and the dedication required to have a successful outcome. Tracie enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and church family.

Ashley Dalton
Patient Advocate for Dr. Colquitt

Ashley joined our Foothills Weight Loss team in 2018. She spent the last 8 years working in a hospital setting.  Ashley is excited about helping bariatric patients achieve their goals.  She guides prospective patients through the very first step required in their weight loss surgery journey: attending or viewing a bariatric seminar. Ashley enjoys gardening, cheering on the Vols the Braves, and spending time with her husband, son and pup Penny.

Lisa Bellah
Front Desk

Lisa’s smiling face is one of the first that patients will encounter when they visit our Foothills office. She joined our practice in March of 2017.

Wendy Crawford
Office Manager

Wendy is the Manager of our Foothills Weight Loss team.  She has 16 years of experience in medical management at a large Knoxville orthopaedic practice. As a bariatric patient herself, Wendy truly understands the bariatric process and the challenges patients encounter along their weight loss journey. She says her surgery was “The best thing I’ve ever done” and is enthusiastic about helping others transform their lives and health.  Wendy and her husband, Kevin, enjoy the outdoors and activities such as camping, hiking and fishing. She has two grown daughters, Haley and Hannah, and 2 German Shepherds, Shadow and Bella. She joined Foothills in May of 2018.

Dana BradleyDana Bradley, RN, BSN, CBN
Certified Bariatric Coordinator

Dana Bradley serves as a liaison between the hospital and Foothills Weight Loss Specialists. She educates patients on the weight loss process; coordinates all education classes for patients and hospital staff; leads support groups; and assists patients before, during and after hospitalization. Dana is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the National Association of Bariatric Nurses and the Obesity Action Coalition.

Rachel Ignomirello, MS,RDN,LDN
Clinical Dietitian

Rachel graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nutrition from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro in 2014. She completed her Master’s of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetic internship at the University of Tennessee in 2016. She’s now a registered and licensed dietitian nutritionist who enjoys getting to know the patients and helping them with their nutrition on their weight loss journey.
