What is ReShape?
ReShape is an FDA approved, Integrated Dual Balloon System designed to assist eligible patients in losing weight and improving their health without surgery. This minimally invasive weight loss option is more than a procedure, involving a unique mixture of technology, coaching and resources to help you achieve an overall healthy lifestyle and future.

How does ReShape work?
“During the procedure, the two connected, medical-grade, saline-filled balloons are placed in your stomach endoscopically, 
helping to manage hunger,” says Dr. Jonathan Ray. “For six months, the balloons safely and comfortably fill up a substantial space in your stomach, effectively changing eating behaviors.”
The insertion of the Dual Balloon System is the second step in the three-phase process of ReShape. Before the procedure even takes place, you’ll be taking steps toward a healthier life.
- Readiness – During this phase, you’ll undergo an evaluation and begin learning about how ReShape will factor into your life.
- Jump Start – The dual balloon system is inserted during this six-month phase. Along with the outpatient procedure, you’ll start making healthy lifestyle changes including focusing on eating well-rounded, nutritious meals and exercising. The combination of the balloon system and proactive healthy choices will help you see better results.
- Healthy Living – This phase is designed to support your improved lifestyle and begins promptly after the balloons are removed. You’ll have tools to help you set goals, track your progress, and stay motivated, in addition to monthly support sessions and coaching.
