July 01, 2011 If you've made a resolution to lose weight, now is the time to explore your options. Beginning Thursday, July 21, at 7 p.m., Foothills Weight Loss Specialists will offer free informational seminars on surgical weight loss options in Sevierville/Kodak, Tenn., at Bass Pro Shops. Seminars will be held at the same time and location on the third Thursday of each month through December. Since 2002, more than 1,000 patients of Foothills Weight Loss Specialists have lost a total of over 100,000 pounds - over 50 tons - as a result of weight loss surgery by Foothills surgeons Dr. Mark Colquitt and Dr. Jonathan Ray. "We invite those considering bariatric surgery to attend a seminar to learn about the surgical weight loss options, including gastric bypass, laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, and Realize adjustable gastric band," said Dr. Colquitt, medical director at Foothills Weight Loss Specialists.
